WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
Fill
brochure racks and help with dog washes.
- Put up event banners and check donation cans.
- Help maintain the Petfinder site and adoption boards.
- Help transport animals to rescues downstate.
- Help with spay/neuter month activities.
Be
aware of and report animal abuse, this would include the lack
of food, water, shelter or veterinary care.
- Adopt from your local shelter and tell your friends to do the
same.
- Spay/nueter your pet, and promote it to your friends and neighbors.
Since most of what we do is to provide money assistance to petowners…
most of what we have is fundraising! You can help by:
- Staff our table at various festivals.
- Help with our annual Dog-Gone Fundraiser in July which includes a silent auction, 50/50
raffle, and flea market.
We meet the 2nd Thursday of every month, April through December,
at the McHenry State Police Barracks at 7pm. Interested persons
may become either an active or associate member.
